Supporting Your Adventures: Counseling Tailored to YOU
Hi, my name is Linda (she/they) and I am a licensed professional counselor offering services via telehealth throughout the state of Oregon. I completed post-graduate training in the diagnosis and treatment of autism and ADHD. I am qualified to assess gender dysphoria and write gender affirmation letters using WPATH guidelines. I am happy to prescribe your emotional support animal when medically necessary. I especially welcome individuals who are BIPOC and or in the 2S+LGBTQIA communities. Finally, I consider my work trauma-informed and no topics are off limits. I never judge.
I have unique training with Masters Degrees in both Sociology and Clinical Counseling, internship training in substance use, and then post-graduate training focused around neurodivergence. I work with your learning style and preferences--whatever combination works best for you, wherever you are: writing, sensory / movement-based approaches, relaxation, humor, venting, structured activity, psychoeducation, visual or experiential explorations.
I will happily assess and provide documentation when indicated for emotional support animals. I have also completed specialized (WPATH) training on supporting trans or non-binary individuals through transition; diagnosing and helping individuals with ADHD and ASD; and managing post-traumatic stress. I can help you address issues of disclosure (coming out and/or remaining private) about disability status, gender, sexual orientation, and any other sensitive area. Finally, whether you have a career you love, are working to find a different job or profession, staying home/ caregiving, or are just trying to get through each day, I can help you be more effective in navigating life's challenges.
Regardless of your challenges, my approach is personalized, collaborative, and empowering. Blending personal responsibility and respectful awareness of real challenges, I will work hard to help you gain confidence and skill in navigating life.
Please use the link to my email (below) to get started. In this initial contact, I highly recommend (almost beg) you to provide your insurance information (or fee requirements if you don't have insurance) so I can make sure your sessions will be covered. Also, please be aware that I have a waiting list at the moment and cannot accommodate clients in acute distress.
